Embotics® vCommander® ships with a diagnostics utility that makes it easy for you to provide information about your deployment to Embotics’ Technical Support team.

  1. Login to vCommander and choose Support under the Help menu.

  2. Click Download diagnostic package.

  3. Check all 4 checkboxes and click Download.

  4. Locate the downloaded zip file (vCommander_Diagnostic.zip) and attach it with your email response.


Note: If you are unable to login to the admin portal you can zip up the logs files from this location on the vCommander application server:
For 5.x C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\tomcat\logs
For 6.x C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\tomcat\logs and C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\tomcat\logs and C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\authservice\logs

For 7.x C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\tomcat\logs and C:\Program Files\Embotics\vCommander\identityservice\logs
