When you install Embotics® vCommander®, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) memory limit configured for the web server is 4096 megabytes. This configuration is typically suitable for vCommander, and should not be changed unless requested by Embotics technical support.

As with any action on a production system, Embotics recommends taking a snapshot prior to making this change.

  1. Login to the Embotics vCommander application server as an administrator.
  2. Using Windows Explorer, launch to<INSTALL_DIRECTORY>\Embotics\vCommander\tomcat\bin\vlmw.exe.

  3. Update the Maximum memory pool value.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Restart the vCommander Windows service.
