How Can I Prevent a Guest From Being Scanned?

In the event that you have one or more VMs that you do not want to be
included when the guest OS scan runs, you simply create a new guest OS
scan group and do not use this group to schedule any scans.
Creating the Guest OS Scan Group
- Under the Configuration menu, choose Guest OS Scan Group.
- Click Add.
- Enter a meaningful Name for the group. Add a Description if you wish.
- Click OK.
Once you have done so, providing that your schedules do not include
this group, its members will not be scanned. This is because a VM may
only be a member of one guest OS scan group.
